 Core Team|Expert Advisory Committe

Our team members come from well-known companies in the industry (eg. SMIC, Datang Telecom, Lucent Technologies, Cisco, Silicon Paradise Venture Group, etc.) and averagely have over 15-year experience in high-tech enterprise management. The total volume of investment and M&A projects led by the core team is beyond ten billion RMB. With years of experiences in the integration of industry with finance, the core team formed perceptive insight into High-Tech industries and precise investment style. With their specialties and abundant resources, the team are competent to provide comprehensive add-value services to the invested companies.

      Dr. Gao Yonggang            Chairman

     Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer & Executive Vice President, Strategic Planning of SMIC

     Dr. Gao is also named the Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer & Executive Vice President, Strategic Planning of SMIC. Prior to joining SMIC, Dr. Gao was the Chief Financial Officer of the China Academy of Telecommunications Technology (Datang Telecom Technology & Industry Group), the chairman of Datang Capital (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Datang Telecom Group Finance Co., Ltd., and an executive director of Datang Hi-Tech Venture Capital Investment Co., Ltd. He was also a director and the Senior Vice President of Datang Telecom Technology& Industry Holdings Co., Ltd.. Dr. Gao has rich experience in investment management. Dr. Gao has presided over 50 investment projects with total amount beyond 10 billion RMB.


      Sun Yuwang            CEO/Founding Partner 

     Master of Engineering, EMBA of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business

     Mr. Sun Yuwang joined CFT Capital as President in 2014. He has over 20 years of engineering, management and operation experience in the ICT and semiconductor industry. In his previous role, Mr. Sun was the Executive Vice President of the China Academy of Telecommunications Technology (Datang Telecom Technology & Industry Group). He was also the Senior Vice President of Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co., Ltd., and the Chairman/President of Leadcore Technology Co., Ltd.


      Zhao Sen          Founding Partner 

     Mr. Zhao served in the China Academy of Telecommunications Technology (Datang Telecom Technology & Industry Group) before joining CFT Capital. He was also named the General Manager of the Investment Division of Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co., Ltd., the Deputy Secretary-General of TD Industry Alliance, and the Partner of Datang Capital Co., Ltd. He has deep experience in telecom industry and profound social resources.

      Mr. Zhao participated in reorganizations of various subsidiaries of Datang Telecom Technology & Industry Group. He presided the JV project of Datang, Samsung and Motorola, the introduction of strategic investment from Al Carter, the fundraising and preparation of public listing of Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co., Ltd., and the project of Datang GoHigh Data Networks Technology Co., Ltd. merging Beijing Gaoyang Jiexun Info.Tech.CO.,Ltd. He also served as the Board Secretary of various JV companies.


      Wang Xinran           Partner 

      Executive Secretary of the Chairman of SMIC, Special Assistant of SMIC Fund

      MBA of Guanghua School of Peking University

      Before joining CFT Capital, Mr. Wang has more than 10 years technical and management experiences in IT industry and over 5 years experiences in investment. He has profound resource in government and industrial areas.


      Qiu Zhongle            Partner 

      MBA of Fudan University, Master of Computer Science of Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics

      Before joining CFT Capital, Mr. Qiu served in ZTE, HEAVEN-SENT Capital Management GROUP CO., LTD., and the China Academy of Telecommunications Technology (Datang Telecom Technology & Industry Group). Mr. Qiu has more than 5 years experiences in the investment business of IC-related industries.


      Huang Fei            Supervisor of Operation

      Mr. Huang is a CFA holder, a CERM holder and a CIIA holder.

      Mr. Huang is specialized in financial analysis, risk control and enterprise evaluation with over 10 years experiences in business start, operation and management.



       Shineking Chen       Managing Director

       EMBA of Shanghai Jiaotong University, Bachelor of Electrical Engineering of Shanghai Jiaotong University

      Before joining CFT Capital, Mr. Chen worked for Mediatek as senior sales manager, WPG group as senior marketing manager，and brand phone manufacture as R&D and Project manager.

      Mr. Chen has more than 10 years of experience in technology，marketing and sales.

 

      The advisory committee of CFT Capital consists of experts coming from the top domestic scientific research institutions, leading IC enterprises and IC industry associations. Meanwhile, CFT Capital formed in-depth cooperation with a number of well-known professional institutions active in the capital market in order to achieve more professional and authoritative opinions towards investment decision making.

      Professor Wang Xi

      Professor Wang is an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a scientist of semiconductor materials. Professor Wang is also named the Director of Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

 

      Professor Wei Shaojun

      Professor Wei is a doctoral supervisor of Tsinghua University while being entitled the Director of the Institute of Microelectronics of Tsinghua University. Professor Wei is also named the Expert Team Leader of the National 01 Major Special Project, and the Chairman of IC Design Branch of the Chinese Semiconductor Industry Association.

 

      Professor Ye Tianchun

      Professor Ye, a doctoral supervisor, serves as the Director of the Chinese Microelectronics Research Institute and the Chairman of the China R&D Center for IOT. Professor Ye is also named the Expert Team Leader of the National 02 Major Special Project.

 

      Mr. Jiang Shoulei

      Mr. Jiang is named the Vice President and the Secretary General of Shanghai Integrated Circuit Industry Association. He also acts as the Independent Director of several semiconductor companies. Mr. Jiang is an expert in the integrated circuit industry with state department special allowance.

 

      Dr. Wu Hanming

      Dr. Wu is an professor and elected to the national “One Thousand People Plan”. Dr. Wu serves as the Vice President of Technology Development in SMIC. He is also a visiting professor at several universities in China. In 2013, Dr. Wu was elected to the first batch of “Beijing Scholars”.

 

      Dr. Tang Tianshen

      Dr. Tang got his Ph.D. in Texas A&M University. Now Dr. Tang serves in SMIC as the Senior Vice President of Design Service.
